A lightweight knitted layer, developed around your yarn, gauge, fit and seasonal brief.
- Fabric starting point
- Fine-gauge cotton yarn. Composition, weight and finish agreed at development.
- Fit & size range
- Size chart, grading and measurement tolerances developed to your buyer block.
- Styling choices to discuss
- Yarn composition, gauge, plain/rib/cable/jacquard/intarsia structure, crew/V/mock neckline, shoulder shape and rib trims.
- Artwork & branding
- Colour, trims, construction and branding are developed against your technical brief. Private labels and packing follow your approved instructions.
- Quality focus
- Measurements, shrinkage, colourfastness and appearance against the approved physical sample; gauge, yarn composition, pilling, knit tension and dimensional stability.
- MOQ & costing
- 1,000 pcs per colour. Confirm quantities per style and size ratio. Price depends on fabric, decoration, trims and packing.
- Sampling & timing
- Sample development is approximately one month, depending on the brief. Indicative bulk lead time is 45–90 days after order confirmation, subject to fabric availability and an agreed schedule.
RAEM coordinates sourcing, factory communication and agreed quality checks. Factory suitability, testing scope, sample charges and shipment terms are confirmed for your order.
Choose the knit weight for your collection.
Fine yarns create a smoother, lighter layer; thicker yarns create a fuller, more textured knit. Yarn count, ply, gauge and stitch structure are developed together.
| Option | Feel & structure | Development details |
|---|---|---|
| Fine-gauge cardigan / jumper | Fine yarn, lighter handle, smoother surface | Agree yarn count, ply, gauge and finished garment weight |
| Mid-weight knit | Balanced layering weight; plain, rib or jacquard | Agree stitch density, drape, sizing and recovery |
| Chunky cardigan / jumper | Thicker yarn, fuller texture; cable or heavy rib | Agree yarn count, gauge, structure and grams per garment |
Tell us the target weight in grams per garment (or kg per dozen), size and yarn composition. Gauge alone does not determine garment weight. Final yarn consumption, costing and measurements follow the agreed sample.
